Title: Elevator Superintendent

Job Summary:
The Elevator Superintendent is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of elevator systems to meet customer needs while adhering to all safety and OSHA regulations. This role involves hands-on leadership and collaboration with team members to maintain equipment, oversee grain logistics, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-On Supervision: Work alongside elevator workers to maintain and operate elevator equipment effectively.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and repairs on elevator machinery to ensure reliable operation.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all elevator workers adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Grain Management: Oversee the loading and unloading of grain products and manage grain logistics.
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of the elevator facility in accordance with standards.
- Team Coordination: Supervise and manage workflow among elevator workers to ensure efficient operations.
- Feed Mill Assistance: Provide support in the feed mill as needed.
- Customer Support: Assist customers and address their needs promptly and professionally.
- Documentation: Complete all required safety, OSHA, and operational paperwork accurately.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support overall operations.

Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid CDL License, 7B Professional Certification, and a valid Kansas Driver’s License.
- Experience: Relevant experience in elevator maintenance or a similar field is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to climb to significant heights and work in confined spaces.
- Competence in performing physical tasks such as twisting, turning, pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including dust, heat, and cold.
