CAR CARE SERVICE WORKER
Job Title: Car Care Service Worker
Department: Service Department
Reports To: Supervisor
Job Summary: The Car Care Service Worker is responsible for performing maintenance and repair services on company vehicles and mobile equipment in an efficient and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Change tires on vehicles and trailers as needed.
- Perform oil changes and replace other vehicle fluids.
- Conduct minor repairs on vehicles as required.
- Perform CDL inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist customers with propane needs as per company protocols.
- Maintain and repair trailers, feed trucks, and other equipment.
- Clean and maintain the shop area to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Key Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in car care or automotive maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and working with arms above head.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE certification or equivalent automotive certification.
- Propane Certification.
- DOT certification.
