Pride Ag is a reputable Cooperative dedicated to excellence in every aspect of our operations. We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Agronomy Delivery Driver to join our Agronomy Division.
Job Summary:
The Agronomy Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering agricultural products—such as fertilizer, seed, and crop protection chemicals—to local producers. This role involves adherence to DOT regulations, safe operation and maintenance of delivery equipment, and supporting the agronomy team as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
• Product Delivery: Safely deliver agronomy products to local producers, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and protocols while operating delivery trucks and handling agricultural materials.
• Pre-Trip Inspection: Conduct daily pre-trip inspections of the delivery truck, including checking fluid levels (oil, coolant/antifreeze, power steering, washer fluid, hydraulic oil) and tire pressures.
• Maintenance Logging: Maintain a monthly maintenance log for the assigned delivery truck/trailer. Record beginning and ending mileage, repairs, and dates of repairs. Submit logs to the Fleet Manager by the 10th of each month.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine greasing of truck bearings (e.g., gate handles, auger bearings, auger pivot points), and lubricate the auger swivel chains and top lid slide rails. Grease the 5th wheel pivot points weekly and the 5th wheel plate monthly.
• Vehicle Cleanliness: Ensure the truck is clean both inside and out through regular washing and detailing.
• Team Support: Assist agronomy personnel with tasks as needed during seasonal peaks or downtime, including loading and unloading product.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the Agronomy Manager.

Minimum Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Kansas Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B)
• Hazmat and tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen
• Clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Capability to climb in and out of trucks
• Ability to sit for extended periods
• Proficiency in twisting, turning, pushing, pulling, and bending
• Ability to climb to heights and work in extreme environments (dust, heat, cold)
Work Schedule:
• Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday and holiday work as needed
• Hours vary based on delivery needs, not to exceed 8 hours per day, or as directed by the Agronomy Manager
• Start time is 8 a.m. daily unless otherwise directed
• One-hour lunch break unless workflow dictates otherwise, as directed by the Agronomy Manager
• All overtime must be pre-approved or as directed by the Agronomy Manager
