Title: Retail Sales Clerk
Department: ACE Hardware
Reports To: Manager
Job Summary:
To provide excellent customer service to retail customers seeking to purchase items from Ace Hardware.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Assist customers
- Stocking shelves and maintaining assigned area
- Theft prevention
- Maintain clean environment by removal of trash, dust, sweep, moping as needed
- Assisting at Cash register as needed
- Carry out as required by customer needs
- Unloading delivery trucks
- Daily accounting and reconciling of receipts
- All other duties as assigned

- Attention to details
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and customers.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Construction experience
- Hardware sales experience
- Knowledge of home repairs
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for extended period of items
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to twist, turn, bend, kneel and climb ladder
